Now I'm bound to tell you not to scrimp on your wedding photographs. But think about it- why pay a fortune for the suit, the dress, the hair and makeup, the venue, the meal, the cake, even hiring the cars, but then try and do the photography on the cheap? The photographs are all you are going to have to remember the day once you get back from honeymoon. Yes, your friends and family will be taking photographs as well, but they are there to enjoy themselves and celebrate your day as guests. They will not capture the range of images that we will, and with the investment we have made in training and equipment, they will not be able to produce the same results, time after time, after time.

But this service doesn't cost as much as you may think, especially when you see what we can do...

Every wedding is unique, so we would need to sit down and discuss your requirements in detail to work out a price. Things I can do for my wedding clients include:

• engagement shoot at a location of your choice
• images from the engagement shoot put onto an A4 or A3 calendar, or if you prefer a print from the enagement shoot, this can be produced for your wedding day, with a signing board for your guests to write a message
• Photography from morning until midnight- starting with the bride at the hairdressers if required
• postcards for all your guests with an image from your enagagement shoot with details of where they can view your images
• slideshow of a selection of your images from the day, set to music and shown before the first dance
• fun portable studio for your evening reception, where you and your guests can come and have a portrait taken and printed out there and then
• online password protected gallery of your images
• private viewing of all your images (with a glass of bubbly!)

But I realise that people like to have an idea of costs, so a typical weekend summer wedding could be:

1 photographer for 4 hours (minimum) £300

1 photographer for the whole day (until the first dance) £500

Disk of images (Low resolution for Facebook etc) £100

Disk of images (High and low resolution) £250

Storybook album from £400

Disk of images (High and low resolution) with an album £150

Parents albums £200 for two

Second photographer £200


As said previously, this is a guide only, and the more services you require, the more likely we will be able to negotiate. If you are getting marrried on a weekday (Monday to Thursday) then we can often often negotiate other rates.
